The stone: Sunstone is a feldspar mineral with a warm, glittering sparkle caused by tiny copper or hematite platelets inside - a phenomenon called aventurescence. Dark sunstone runs deeper than the classic peachy variety. Rich copper-red and burgundy tones with that same inner fire, but warmer and more dramatic.
